Gulf Oil Spill Update
LSART would like to thank everyone who submitted to be a worker at the sites that were set up to help care for the animals. At this time, we are no longer taking applications for additional workers. Due to a decreased number of animals being brought in for care, the number of workers needed is being decreased. We will continue to work with those people who have already submitted their information or have been scheduled to work already.
If you have worked at any of the sites; Ft. Jackson, Hammond, Grand Isle, Venice or Intracoastal City; and have have not yet picked up your check for your time worked from May 2010 through the end of July 2010, please contact the WJE Foundation office immediately!
If you have picked up your check for your time worked May 2010 through the end of July 2010 and you have a discrepancy, please contact the WJE Foundation office no later than September 15 to begin the process of rectifying this matter. The WJE Foundation office may be reached by phone at 225-928-5862 or 800-524-2996 or email office@lvma.org.
